Folder tree structure for PSE 14 has me confused

When PSE 14 organizer is open, all my photos are found under "PSE 14 FOLDER FOR PHOTOS"in various subfolders. I wanted to create one folder for a handful of photos but somehow all sub folders are linked to this name

If I open windows "file explorer" ,the same photos (in their proper sub folder) are located c:>Users>William>Pictures. There is no "PSE 14 FOLDER FOR PHOTOS" folder showing when using "file explorer".

Is there an explanation for this?

    Bill,

That's what is confusing everybody in this discussion.

Nobody can see a "pse 14 folder for photos" in any computer, and anyway, Elements does never use the words 'pse 14'.

So, that must have been a folder created outside Elements in your explorer.

I suggest posting a screenshot to show exactly what this looks like.

You use the 'print screen' key of your keyboard.

In the editor, you use the menu File > new file from clipboard

you save it on your desktop.

Then, in your answer, click on the image icon (7th from left) and browse to that file.

I believe that my issue is resolved, it appears to be a Win 10 issue.

Clicking the Reveal key would take me to a different named folder in File Explorer, I deleted that File Explorer folder and copyied photos from backup, all appears to be OK.

    Thank you to all

The folder list displayed in the tree structure is the same as that present on your system.

To go to the folder listed in the folder structure in Elements Organizer, right click on the folder and choose Reveal in Explorer.

This shall open that particular folder in file explorer.

Please try out these steps and let us know if the folder structure does not match.

    Thanks,

In Elements organizer the folders name is "pse 14 folder for photos" by right clicking it and choosing REVEAL file explorer opens the folder "Pictures" , I cannot see any reference to "pse 14 folder for photos" and thats what is confusing me.
