Frustrated

Call me old fashioned but is there any program I can simply download, turn off the internet on this computer (yep, I actually don't want constant updates), that can handle my 11.99 framerate on my gopro & has a few buttons & bobs to make it look pretty with my greenscreen stuff & background scenery.  Added to this, is there an email I can actually talk to someone at adobe with that doesn't involve 5 pages of questions to tell me I can chat, & then loop me back to the 1st page to ask the same questions again.
