Hi,

Great that there is a new version solving the hang-on issue on the lastest mac-os and Photoshop 2022. I bought the fysical DVD version and a fresh download via the download link (adobe.com/go/elements-esd) won't solve the problem. Can this version be updated as well? Or is there another download link?

Regards,

Dennis

Are you able to launch the program at all?  If so, go to Help>System Info . . . .  The first line of the dialog will show the installed build number.  Compare it with the build number for the update which is shown in this post.  If you don't have the updated build, you should uninstall the program and reinstall from the link found here.

If this still doesn't fix the problem, I suggest you try contacting Elements support. You can start a chat session by clicking on the blue Contact Us button under the Help and Support menu at Adobe.com. Or you can contact Support by telephone using the numbers listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html.
