HELP: Elements 2019 won't update to Camera Raw 11.1

New Here ,
Dec 16, 2018 Dec 16, 2018

I just downloaded Elements 2019 onto a new Macbook Pro and it came with Camera Raw 10.4, but the most recent version is 11.1. The updates option under the help menu is greyed-out and I have even tried to manually download and install CameraRaw 11.1.  I have a Nikon D3500 and that camera was not supported until the 11.1 update, therefore I cannot open any of the raw files I shot on my new camera. I am trying to put together holiday books for my family and need to post-process. PLEASE HELP!

Unfortunately, only adobe knows when or if pse 2019 will ever be updated past camera raw 10.4.

In the meantime you can use the adobe dng converter 11.1 to conveerter your D3500 nefs to dng copies

which should then open in pse 2019.

Hello,

Were you able to update to ACR 11.1?

To check the ACR version, please click on the 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 Editor' in the top menu bar.

Then choose 'About Plug-In' > 'Camera Raw'.

Thanks,

Medha

No way to update, it still shows 10.4 version.

It's a shame, I bought PSE 19 only to hace he chance to edit RAW files

coming from my LEICA D-LUX 7.

Adobe support no exist.

Can you please navigate to Help > Updates... and confirm if the option is enabled. If so, then please click on it to update to ACR 11.1.
