1) Yes I can view the photos on my computor. 2) I am patient! 3)Yes, the
folder works.

BUT: I think I have solved my problem now! I had previously copied some
edited and some original photos using "copy and paste" onto the USB unit.

When I used "Export as new files" from Photoshop today to move the pictures
to the USB stick, I can watch all the files, original or edited on the tv!

Thank you for your efforts to help me. Maybe someone else might be helped
by my mistake!

Photoshop, or phtoshop elements?

Modern smart tv's have any number of ways of streaming photos from a computer.

The easiest, bar far, is to plug in a USB device loaded with photos.   I actually use my photos for background images / screensaver on my tv.

Slidshows I make?   I put them on my youtube channel and can watch them using the built in youtube app the tv has.

Problem can be solved by installing Adobe Bridge and then marking all
the files and exporting them in one go as ".jpg". Of course you will then
have do delete the "old" files but all the "new" ones can be shown on a LG
TV

How are you trying to show the photos on your TV?  There is nothing in any of the Elements programs that can do that without some intermediary device that you use to choose which photo files to show.

If you are using something like a USB thumb drive to connect the files to your TV, it may be that you have saved the edited files in .PSD format.  If this is the case, then it is unlikely that your TV will be able to recognize or display them.  You would have to change the files to jpeg format.

1) I had copied the photos to a USB stick.
2) I had saved them as .jpg.
3) I can show photos on the tv using another USB, containing photos which I
edited some years ago using Photoshop Elements 11. Now I use Elements 2021.

Can you view the photos on the USB drive on your computer?  You haven't really explained why you cannot view them on your TV.   If you can view the jpegs on your computer, you should be able to view them on your TV.

Some TVs take a while to read the USB drive, particularly if the files are large and there are many of them on the USB device.  Are you being patient enough?  Have you navigated to the proper folder on the USB device?
