Hi. I have Photoshop Elements 7 and Adobe Premiere Elements 7 installed on my computer. I have bought a new computer. I won't be using the programs on my old one.

My question is how to transfer the license from the old computer to the new one? Any advice is much appreciated.

Thank you. I was used to Photoshop where you only had 1 license. I've done what you describe and I have it up and running in the new computer.

    Angel,
You just need to uninstall PSE7 and PRE 7 from your old computer, this will delete the licensing information from the machine and then use the same serial keys to install PSE and PRE on your new machine. Works for me.

I'm in the same boat here.  The HD on which I have Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements installed has died.  There is no way to uninstall so that license can be preserved by the normal method.

Surely this must be common problem.  Anyone have a suggestion?

After participating in this thread, I can't believe what I just did.

I removed an old Radeon 5770 from my PC and installed a new GTX 960 in my PC. I didn't feel like going through the chore of scouring my hard drive to remove the unnecessary AMD Catalyst drivers and GUESS WHAT I DID?

Yep. Just up and reinstalled Windows 10 WITHOUT uninstalling my Adobe products.

I'm ready for my dunce cap now, Mr. DeMille.

I can't speak for Premiere Elements, but you all you have to do install Photoshop Elements 7 on your new computer. Have your serial number ready.
