Hi. I have Photoshop Elements 7 and Adobe Premiere Elements 7 installed on my computer. I have bought a new computer. I won't be using the programs on my old one.

My question is how to transfer the license from the old computer to the new one? Any advice is much appreciated.

Thank you. I was used to Photoshop where you only had 1 license. I've done what you describe and I have it up and running in the new computer.

    Angel,
You just need to uninstall PSE7 and PRE 7 from your old computer, this will delete the licensing information from the machine and then use the same serial keys to install PSE and PRE on your new machine. Works for me.

I apologize for bumping an ancient thread (here comes the "but"), but I believe this is a common issue that needs to be addressed. Not only is there an issue with formatting the hard drive, but also with hard drive failure or corruption where a new hard drive is installed and there is no way to uninstall the program.

What can be done? I know with Microsoft Windows 7 licensing, you have to call an automated system and promise that there is only one computer running that particular OS. Anything like that for Adobe?

I can't speak for Premiere Elements, but you all you have to do install Photoshop Elements 7 on your new computer. Have your serial number ready.
