This must be simple but I just can't figure it out.

I'm making an instruction sheet illustration and have steps (step 1, step 2, etc.) for the user to follow. At the end of each step I need to insert an arrow pointing to a line.

How do I insert, or type, an arrow into the line of text? For example, "Step 1, fold paper on this line" with an "up" arrow at the end of that sentence pointing to the line.

Thnaks in advance.

. . .  or use the shape tool to create an arrow on a separate layer from the text.  You can then manipulate the arrow however you wish.
