when I'm looking to open files, I don't want to be directed to files from yesterday or past 30 days, can I eliminate that?

    Hi RaySull,

This is a in-application feature to allow easy access of recent used files in Photoshop Elements. However, I am not sure which particular section of the application are you referring to. Could you please provide us a screenshot of the Elements showing the "Yesterday" and "Last 30 days" section?

    Thanks,

    Akash

Thanks for providing the screenshot. This is a operating system feature and Photoshop is only fetching the files from that menu.

What might help is sorting and un-grouping the list in a different form.

Simplest way is to set is to group by none:

    User uploaded file

You may also do the following:

    • The regular click of the button or the menu is Arrangement.
    • Hold down option and select the button or menu and you get Sort options.
    • Set the arrangement to none and the Sort to Date Modified.
