I downloaded Elements 15 to Windows 10 but cannot extract the files.  Why do I get popups that say "not enough file space or you don't have write-to authority", or another installer is running; close it and try again".

    Where did you download the file from?  I suggest get a fresh file from this link:

    <Download Photoshop Elements | 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 >

    Save the file somewhere where you can find it.  Then after it has downloaded, switch off the Internet to of the machine so that you don't get interfered with any Windows updates.

    You then need to right-click on this file and choose Run as Administrator.  Provide the password when prompted and continue from there.

    Good luck.

    Hi Harry,

    Make sure you have enough of hard drive space when you are trying to install PSE. You can check minimum system requirements (including hard drive space) here: System requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements

    You are probably trying to install multiple applications at a time or may be you are running the same installer multiple times because of which you are getting error.

    Please let me know if you face any further issues.

    Regards,

    Mayank
