I keep getting an error

I want to test out Photoshop Elements 2018. Adobe enables you to download something, which I did (multiple times, trying restarting and completely starting over), but I keep getting an error. The thing is I don't even know what the error is... It just states that "some things aren't installed" but won't show which things. It gives me a link to an error-centre, but the link doesn't work. I can ignore this message altogether and open the program, but then I can't do anything because it keeps saying "Couldn't do [the thing] due to lack of RAM space" but from what I know of my laptop I have enough space there so I don't understand why it's an error?

If you have any knowledge about this I'd love for you to help me out (I also a while back downloaded the Lightroom test-program which did work (I didn't like that one)). I'd love it if you could answer in simplified English, even though my English is good, I don't always understand all terms. So if you know what's going on and how to fix it, I would appreciate if you were also able to explain what I should do in simplified English (if that's too much of a hazard, that's okay, I'll figure it out. I'm just really happy you would be able to help).

Thanks in advance!

My guess is that you may have two Microsoft problems at the same time.

1 - The RAM problem has hit thousands of Elements and Photoshop users after the latest Windows 10(1803) update. There is an explanation and a workaround:

Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

Ask if you need more step by step help.

2 - There has been another issue for the 'missing components' error message. It seems that it is a 'false positive' warning, and that you can really access all the features. If you can't, that's most probably the RAM error above.
