First of all, I must get the following off my chest. ADOBE SUPPORT IS THE WORST.
I have spent hours trying to fix the following problem. I have never a had good experience with PSE 11 or 14. I FINALLY figured out how to start the in PSE 14 Organizer after searching the user guide (which kept telling me how wonderful and easy my life will be with the organizer, but didn't show a simple screenshot of how to invoke it).
When I tried to Import the images on my hard drive (Windows 10, C:\Users\John\Pictures), selecting 'Bulk Import', the disk would spin for a while, and images would flicker by, and the progress bar would keep advancing.
But after several minutes, an 'Import Failed' dialog popped up, and the explanation given was that there was an incompatible or damaged file. Next, I tried importing one folder at a time, and had some success, but still got the error for a significant number of folders. Windows Explorer displayed the thumbnails correctly, and I could use slide show viewer with no problems on the folders that reported 'Import Failed' in PSE 14 Organizer.
Now, to add insult to injury, when I start PSE 14, it wants me to log in. I bought PSE 14 as a stand-alone on a single desk top PC.
Any ideas would be welcome, but I am on the verge of uninstalling PSE.
