Is the redemption code or the serial number 24 alphanumerical digits?

I received a new PSE 13 package from Amazon. Inside there is a 5"x5" card. On it there are two printed words: Redemption Code and below that is a 24-alphanumeric-digits sticker. In my installation process, I was asked to provide a serial number with blank spaces for 24 alphanumeric digits. I am confused by these two terms Adobe used. Need help. Thanks.

You've got a redemption code. Use it (once only) to obtain a 24 digit serial number.
