When I print 8X10 my Canon printer says 300 dpi so less quality, but photo is like 3-5 MP. I would think 3MP would print fine, but it just prints okay but nowhere near perfect or like I see on PC screen. Any ideas?

At five-by-seven no issues.

What is the size of your picture in pixels?

8x10inches at 300ppi would be 2400px x 3000px! That would be OK.
