MacOS Mojave causing Spinning Mouse all the time

When I had Mac OS Sierra, PS elements ran fine. No issues.

After the upgrade to Mojave, the mouse was nearly always spinning.

I was told I needed a PS upgrade.  so I bought the new one, 2018.  After a few updates to it, it was fine.

But then, it started again.  If I open an image in Elements, it takes about 25 seconds to load it and the mouse to stop spinning.

Why is that?  Surely the new OS and new Software should work beautifully.  Is there anything I can do to check settings, like memory leakage etc?

Hi,

    had the same problem and tried re-setting photoshop and I've now been using it for a few days now, sorted i think.

Am using  Elements 14.  Worked great until Mojave.  Adobe now locks up and have to Force Quit and start over?

Get spinning cursor again soon?  Rebooted and reloaded.  Use MacBook with only Elements loaded.

Hello,

Could you please confirm if the issue occurs only when you open the image in a specific room (like Quick/Expert) or does it occur in all the rooms? Also, does it occur with all the images, irrespective of their size/type?

Rooms?

When I open an image file on the Mac (right click, Open With, Photoshop Elements), it takes a long time to get the image in there - whether PS is running or not.

And no, file size makes no difference as I had one that was about 50kb.
