MENU COMMAND MISSING!
Where did the menu command "EDIT>FADE GAUSSIAN BLUR" go?
I NEED IT BACK!
IN PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 2020!
I'm also not aware of Edit>Fade ever being in photoshop elements.
It was in the 2002 Version of Photoshop Elements!
But that installer no longer works on current versions of Windows!

Use capital letters and as many exclamation points as you wish, but your statements simply aren't true. And just so we are not misunderstanding you:
If so, you are mistaken in thinking that a Fade Gaussian blur menu command has disappeared. And if you are indeed talking about Photoshop Elements 2020, what problem are you having with the installer?
Perhaps, if you tell us what you are trying to do, we can help you find a way to "fade" a Gaussian blur, e.g. with a layer mask and the Gradient Tool.
It's a command in Photoshop, not PSE. This is the same thing Greg said- I just provided a screenshot
Photoshop Elements, any version- Never has been there.
How many screenshots and from how many versions of Photoshop Elements!
It was in Photoshop Elements 2002 the one with the Giant Daisy on the
cardboard disc sleeve! If the installer would still work in Windows 10 or
if I had access to an earlier Windows computer I could send you a
screenshot proving it!
You just want me to pay $120 per year to use the Full Version of
Photoshop! You are not really there to help anyone, you aren't even
technicians, you are salespeople, just there to sell upgrades to the full
version of Photoshop!

Nope, this is user to user forum. 99% of responses are from other users--- occasionally an Adobe employee will respond.
Just between jeff and Greg- who both gave accurate responses- they probably have about 30 years of experience with the program.
You just seem really upset right now and are ignoring correct responses from some really smart people----
Not sure of the point of you posting your private info--- are you expecting someone to call you or drive out to where you live to help?
I just read the user manual for version 2.0, and guess what? edit>fade> gaussian blur is not listed. Fade is listed- 139 times. Most often fade applies to brush settings.
below is a screenshot of the user manual.
I've got lots of versions of pse installed right now: 10,14, 18, 2020,2022,2023--- it's not in any of those versions.
I'm done here. good luck.
You might have a look at the well-known add-on from Andrei Doubrovki, Elements+
Scroll down to the scripts, near the bottom.
You'll see that the script to add "fade' to Elements seems to have been offered from PSE11; this shows that all PSE old-timers are right in saying that the "fade" option has never been introduced up to now. I have had versions, 2,4,6,10 and all versions since PSE11 and most versions of Elements+. I must say that there are so many ways to simulate that effect that I never used Elements+ for that purpose.
I actually forgot I bought elements+ for version 10 just to play with.
