Missing keyword and its subcategories

Hi    One of my keywords (and its associated sub-categories) has suddenly disappeared from the list of keywords in the organiser.

I upgraded to PSE 2022 when it was released and have never had trouble with keywords before. The missing keywords still appear under each relevant image in the organiser display so the tagging remains.See attachment.

The keywords have also disappeared from the menu of tags in the 'find by details' facility so I can’t retrieve them. Short of using a full catalogue backup and missing out more recent entries, what can I do?  Thanks for your help.

A possible explanation:

It happens that the keyword category has been dragged and dropped inadvertently over an existing other category.

Did you try the advanced search by entering the keyword in the text search line on top of the search page?

. . .  and are you sure the tag is not in a collapsed category or sub-category?

Thanks Michel and Greg

No, the high level keyword hadn't been  dragged elsewhere - this is the first thing I checked.

However the keywords are still present, buried in the keyword list which didn't seen to be apparent when I first looked. So I will have to reconstruct the subcategory structure in the keyword list which will take ages but at least the keywords are still there. So many thanks for prompting me to renew my efforts.

Why did it happen I wonder, because I wouldn't have deleted the high level keyword. I would have hoped the constant prompts I get to backup the catalog structure (which I do) meant that I could use the repair facility in 'manage catalogs' to repair the structure, but it didn't repair.

Thanks again.
