Multiple files: Commands beyond the ones offered in the multiple files menue and the organizer?

Hi, I'd like to apply intelligent auto-correction to many files in a folder. I'd like to use the equivalent of what you get for the Alt+Cnt+M command in the quick menue. Corrections offered in the multiple files menue give a much poorer quality. The same applies for the auto-correction option in the organizer of photoshop elements 15. Is there some way of batch processing with commands from the regular menues?

That's not my my experience. Less tools, ok, but the main ones do have the same quality.

I would suggest another workflow.

You know you can open jpegs or tiff images as well as raw ones in the ACR module? (menu File >> Open in camera raw of the editor).

From the editor you open at the same time a batch of camera raws. Superior to the editor for white balance, contrast, adjusting shadows and highlights and clarity. With the batch open, you can apply selected edits to some of the batch, to all or only one by one file. For me, it's the best quality and speed workflow until I have to open in the editor for local edits.

The advantage is also that the last set of edits is saved for the next edited image.

Contrary to any other batch edit proces (via actions or scripts), you can apply the same set of edits to many file and control the visual effect; if some need additional or different ones, you do it in the same edited batch. It's a similar workflow to the one in Lightroom, with only non-destructive (procedural) edits.

There is a new feature in PSE15. Have you tried selecting multiple thumbnails in Organizer and clicking the Instant fix button at the bottom?

Yes, this is what I meant by "beyond the ones offered in the ... organizer". I have a license for PSE 14 and installed a test version of PSE 15 just to see if I should purchase PSE 15 to solve the issue. However, the quality of the quick fixes in the organizer is not comparable with commands in the main window of PSE. I have about 1200 scanned 35 mm slides (more to come) which need to be polished. The organizer mainly increases the brightness, but the result does not come close to typing Alt+Cnt+M.
