How can I get Photoshop to read Paint.Net Images files. some from work use that ((*#$%) program.
Excellent!
I found and tested a PSD file format plug-in that works -- a two layer PDN file exported as a PSD file which PSE opened with the layers intact.
Paint.Net is available from here:
http://www.getpaint.net/index.html
The PSD plugin is available here:
http://psdplugin.codeplex.com/
Good Luck!

You can't get PSE to open those files.
Simply install Paint.Net (it's free) on your computer, then you can export the PDN file to a PSE-supported format.

Right. I just tested this and it only "Saves As" flattened images, even when saving as TIF.
I'll check their plug-ins to see if there's any that will export in layers, but it'll take a while...,.
