Organiser cant find photos

Due to a computer error, I have had to re install all my photo folders but under different names. Organiser still has photos under old names and can't find anything. How can I delete everything in organiser and then re fill with new named photo folders?

Just start a new catalog and use the Bulk Importer to search your computer for photo and video files. 

• Go to File>Manage Catalogs and click the New button.  Give a name to the new catalog and open it.
• Select Import>In Bulk.  In the search dialog that appears, add the parent folder (or drive) of the location where the photos are stored.

You haven't told us anything about your old catalog, but if you have performed a lot of work creating it (tagging and face recogntion etc.), we may be able to help you restore it.  But we would need a lot more information about what happened to your computer and how you were able restore the photo folders.  I assume you were able to restore some form of backup.  How does the new folder hierarchy differ from the old one?
