Organizer Import Failure Log

I have about 23,000 images I'm trying to manage with PS 2020 Organizer. Things work as advertised except for about 100 images (all tif) that fail to import.  These files names and location are show in the import failure window.  Does PSE write a error/import failure log?  I think I know the problem - files are actually JPG but have TIF extension. I can fix the problem with Irfanview easily, but it's a strain to read the popup error window then type into Irfanview to change to tif.  A text error log file would make things much easier.  So is there an error log generated - if required - during and after image import failure?
