Panasonic G9 RW2 files won't open

Question

I have a new Panasonic Lumix G9 camera that produces RW2 files but, unlike those produced by my old GH4, Photoshop Elements won't open them. The links provided by the dialogues aren't helpful.

Does this mean that Photoshop Elements 13 is now useless for me? Will Adobe produce a patch at some point?

Hi,If you mean the LUMIX DC-G9, then for that you need camera raw version 10.1 or later.Unfortunately, the last version that PSE 13 supports is 9.0.Your options are to upgrade to PSE 2018 or use the free Adobe DNG converter. The DNG converter will take your RW2 files and convert them to DNG files which can be read by PSE 13.Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC Brian
