Photo editor workspace Photoshop Elements 2022 not showing quick, guided or expert mode

When I bring up the Photo Editor workspace in PSE 2022, the area where you should be able to click on Quick, Guided or Expert mode is all black. Down at the bottom in the Tool Options which should show Filters, Adjustments, Effects, etc is all black as well. How do I get this back to the way it should be? I'm attaching a screenshot of what I see when I open Photo Editor. I'm running Windows 10.

I cannot believe this, but I got out of full-screen, closed the editor and then re-opened it and all the modes and tool options were back! Not sure why that is like that, but I'm happy I can now use PSE 2022, because I certainly couldn't before.

I CALLED ADOBE AND THE FIX IS EASY. OPEN TASK MANAGER. CLOSE (END TASK) ANY ADOBE PROGRAMS THAT ARE OPEN (EVEN CREATIVE CLOUD AND ADOBE UI, ETC.). REOPEN PHOTOSHOP AND IT SHOULD APPEAR.
