Several people have reported that Apple have caused these problems with their latest update. There is always a compatibility risk when updating Mac OS on computers running older software and plug-ins.

Go to Privacy settings in System Preferences and if the Elements Editor is listed you may be able to authorize it.

    This Macworld link may help.

Alternatively consider upgrading to PSE 2019

Don’t forget Black Friday sales that are coming. There are normally good discounts on Elements. You can get the free trial of PSE 2019 right away. Go to the link at the bottom of this page. If it runs fine there is no need to re-install. Simply use the serial number from disk or key card.

Making the change in the "privacy" setting shown in the Macworld article appeared to allow PSE 11 to run OK under Mojave for me. Before this change, it crashed every time, as soon as I did almost anything!

    Thanks, 99jon!!
