Photoshop Elements 11 won't open after installed Mac OS Mojave

I wanted to edit photo. I can open the photo and can make a new file but it won't allow me to merge to create a new image together.

Once I try to move the photo onto new black layer file, Photoshop will close and can't use it. Does someone can help me to solve this issue?

Thank you.

Try trashing the prefs which is often necessary after updating Mac OS.

    Quit Elements

Launch Finder and go to your Username >>Library >> Preferences

Send the following files/folders to the trash:

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Paths

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Settings

    com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist

n.b. The library is hidden in recent versions of OSX. To get to your user library quickly, from the top menu in Finder, click “Go” whilst holding down the Option (Alt) key and your user Library will appear for you to choose.

After deleting the above, reboot by clicking the apple logo (top-left) and choosing restart. Then try the Elements editor again

Thank you for your help and quick response.

I have tried what you told me but it's still the same.

Once I open the editor, open a photo, create a new blank file / layer, and try to merge by moving the photo opened onto a new blank file, the photoshop editor will close straight away without any warning. Do you have any more idea to solve this problem? I want to upload new photo onto my website and add new image and product. Also do you know how to contact adobe customer support? I wanted to chat or call but adobe site won't allow me.

    One other thing to try:

Click System Preferences in the dock and open Security & Privacy

Choose the Privacy tab and then choose Accessibility

Click the lock to unlock (you may be prompted for your Apple system login password)

Then click the plus button (or add a check-mark to the editor if already listed)

    Navigate to:

Macintosh HD >> Applications >> Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 >> Support Files

Choose (highlight) Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor and click open

Re-lock and try the editor again, even if not added to the control list, after closing Security & Privacy
