Photoshop Elements 14 does not work on my Mojave upgrade on my Mac

Up until recently Elements 14 worked well....importing, editing and exporting.  With the recent Mac upgrade to Mojave, I can import and edit, but I cannot export or save the file.  The message comes up saying the project is an "invalid file".
