Question

photoshop elements 15 could not complete request program error on .psd open

I have just created twelve .psd files. They all saved just fine.  Now only five of them will open in PSE 15.  I receive the "..could not complete request..program error" message when trying to load/open these files.

I also saved the files as .jpg's and they appear just fine. But I now need to edit them .psd's and they won't load.

thanks

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can you please try resetting preferences once. To do so,

Go to Edit > Preferences and click on Reset Preferences on next launch.

Now relaunch Photoshop Elements Editor and try opening the same .PSDs again.

If issue still persists, I would request you to please share one of those .PSD file with me at anwesha@adobe.com

This would help me in assisting you further.

    Thanks,

    Anwesha

Sorry, I see "reset preferences" under edit/preferences/general.

I did that and relaunched pse with no results. I will send file to you, thanks
