Photoshop Elements 15 Editor doesn't start anymore

Can somebody help me?

I've purchased Photoshop Elements 15 for Mac, used it a couple of times, but now the fotoeditor doesn't start anymore. It says, that it was closed accidentally the last time I used it. But that's not the case.

I updated Photoshop recently, but afterwards it still worked two or three times. But now, it doesn't anymore.

What must I do? I'm quite disappointed, because I've just purchased photoshop and so far no-one from adobe seems to feel responsible for problems with their products.

Please help!

    Hi,

    Please try after resetting the preferences. For this:

    Press and hold Option+Command+Shift immediately while launching the Photoshop Elements editor.  A dialog will come , click Yes to delete the file.

    Let me know if the issue persists.
