Photoshop Elements 15 Organizer won't important photos. It keep crashing and closes. According to the Windows 10 compatibility analyzer, this product will not work in Windows 10.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thank you.

Brian

It seems that the Windows compatibility analyzer has not been updated, nearly all recent versions of Elements do work well on Windows 10 esplecially the latest PSE15 version.

Can you describe your problem with more details, what works or does not work, your workflow, possible error messages ? Still better, posting screenshots?

Hi Brian,

Can you please confirm if the crash happens as soon as you launch organizer or only when you try importing some files?

Please download the crash registry from here - Dropbox - werwindows7.reg  and run it on your machine. Next time Organizer crashes, please check C:/Dumpstore location for a /dmp file. Please upload the same to folder - Dropbox - Brian

That would be helpful in investigating the cause of failure.

Thanks

Andaleeb

I'm not entirely sure that I did this right. Could you check the DropBox folder?

It only happens after Organizer has been opened and you try to import photos or files

Hi Brian,

Did you ever get a satisfactory answer. I have just purchased 15 and when I point to Import or File or any other commands  in the Organiser nothing happens the Organiser just sits there doing nothing,

If I open Editor they do work.

I can't import my photos. But it did work once for a short time and imported a dozen or so then stopped again.

Can you help?

Roy
