Photoshop Elements 15: Smart Tags language

Is there a language setting for smart tags? Though my PSE is configured for language/region German/Germany, smart tags are English only (sunset, nature, rain, ...).

Obwohl Sprache/Region auf Deutsch/Deutschland eingestellt ist, finde ich nur englische Smart Tags (sunset, nature, rain, ...) kann man deren Sprache auch einstellen?

    Hi Mike,

    This should not happen. Can you please confirm if you're on Windows or MAC? Please share a screenshot of your Smart tag panel in Search view.

    Can you create a new test catalog and import say 10 files? To do so, please click File > Manage Catalogs > New. Are the tags generated in German in this catalog as well?

    Hi Andaleeb,

    I do have Windows 10 & updated from PSE12 to PSE15.

    Please find the requested screenshot attached.

    Kindly provide more guidance on the requested action. Do you want me to import 10 new pics, which are not yet in the database or do you want me to create a new album and select 10 pics from the existing media?

    Hi Andaleeb!

    nothing heard for an week ;-(

    As I suggested in a private mail, I set up myself a win10ent_evaluation system virtually within virtualbox.

    From today it is valid for 36 days.

    There the problem is reproducible!

    Bad! The behavior comes from different user-accounts (may be different rights).

    After I changed the language and region of the system to "deutsch" and "Deutschland".

    I installed pse for testing! (I don't know how long this period is!?)

    PSE started in german language.

    Then I created a new catalog from the account "user" what is the default on the eval-system.

    I called the catalog "neu_user"

    Then I imported one picture from a room and within the "user" (admin) account and this one was autotaged in german language!!!

    Next I created a new user "tester_low" as standard user and set this up to the language and region "deutsch" and "Deutschland" before! I started pse within this account.

    I used the same catalog I before initialised within the account "user" see above.

    As I imported the zebra into this catalog, it was autotaged with English autotags ;-(((

    (same behavior on my real live system)

    Because of our ugly time shift between india and germany I suggest to upload my test system to your access.

    Unfortunately the virtual hard disk is compressed as zip nearly 30gb. I do not have that much cloudspace to offer it for you.

    So please (if you are realy interested to help us) give me an upload link with an appropriate size.

    I will try to upload my virtualbox virtual harddisk compressed.
