Photoshop Elements 15: Smart Tags language

Is there a language setting for smart tags? Though my PSE is configured for language/region German/Germany, smart tags are English only (sunset, nature, rain, ...).

Obwohl Sprache/Region auf Deutsch/Deutschland eingestellt ist, finde ich nur englische Smart Tags (sunset, nature, rain, ...) kann man deren Sprache auch einstellen?

    Hi Mike,

    This should not happen. Can you please confirm if you're on Windows or MAC? Please share a screenshot of your Smart tag panel in Search view.

    Can you create a new test catalog and import say 10 files? To do so, please click File > Manage Catalogs > New. Are the tags generated in German in this catalog as well?

    Hi Andaleeb,

    I do have Windows 10 & updated from PSE12 to PSE15.

    Please find the requested screenshot attached.

    Kindly provide more guidance on the requested action. Do you want me to import 10 new pics, which are not yet in the database or do you want me to create a new album and select 10 pics from the existing media?

    Hi Roberto,

    I have sent you an email about possible workaround.

    Apart from the workaround, we can try reinstalling PSE as it seems that one your as well as Mike's machine, a registry setting is not getting created. Re-installing PSE in Admin account may resolve the issue, without using the workaround.

    in my email was no attachment.

    For re-installing in Admin account, did you mean the by default deactivated full Admin account from Windows?

    I won't do that realy.

    What I did, was giving my standard account on my real machine temporary admin rigths. With this I uninstalled an reinstalled PSE15 again.

    No succes ;-(((

    Autotags in new created catalog came still in english language!

    What to do? I impoted meanwhile new pictures in my wrong tagging from PSE13 upgraded catalog.

    How to delete all the wrong tag from my 25000+ pics?

    How to become the correct language for the tags? As we can see, german is generaly possible!

    As I startet pse15 by "run as admin" from my temporary elevated standard account on my real machine I get the following prompt with text from PSE14:
