Photoshop Elements 15: Smart Tags language

Is there a language setting for smart tags? Though my PSE is configured for language/region German/Germany, smart tags are English only (sunset, nature, rain, ...).

Obwohl Sprache/Region auf Deutsch/Deutschland eingestellt ist, finde ich nur englische Smart Tags (sunset, nature, rain, ...) kann man deren Sprache auch einstellen?

    Hi Mike,

    This should not happen. Can you please confirm if you're on Windows or MAC? Please share a screenshot of your Smart tag panel in Search view.

    Can you create a new test catalog and import say 10 files? To do so, please click File > Manage Catalogs > New. Are the tags generated in German in this catalog as well?

    Hi Andaleeb,

    I do have Windows 10 & updated from PSE12 to PSE15.

    Please find the requested screenshot attached.

    Kindly provide more guidance on the requested action. Do you want me to import 10 new pics, which are not yet in the database or do you want me to create a new album and select 10 pics from the existing media?

    Could you please advise how to reset/clear tags with wrong smart-tag language - without loosing all configuration (like face recognition)?

    I can't give advice in how to repair a catalog with wrong smart-tagged language.

    Only Adobe couldt !?

    I'm waiting myself for a solution from adobe.

    See my "BUT:" some messages before in this thread.

    The workaround obove is only for importing new pictures in a existing or new catalog.

    May be working also for a full new catalog convert from a previous Version.

    So, if you are in the possibillity to convert again from a previous Version catalog,

    you could have success.

    BUT:

    you have to Import and "care" to new pictures again

    Which is month after a release of the new pse-version very bad.

    same Problem by me.

    seems to not interresting for Adobe.

    may be pse i to cheep for them.

    Hope to here better News from Adobe!?
