Photoshop Elements 15: Smart Tags language

Is there a language setting for smart tags? Though my PSE is configured for language/region German/Germany, smart tags are English only (sunset, nature, rain, ...).

Obwohl Sprache/Region auf Deutsch/Deutschland eingestellt ist, finde ich nur englische Smart Tags (sunset, nature, rain, ...) kann man deren Sprache auch einstellen?

    Hi Mike,

    This should not happen. Can you please confirm if you're on Windows or MAC? Please share a screenshot of your Smart tag panel in Search view.

    Can you create a new test catalog and import say 10 files? To do so, please click File > Manage Catalogs > New. Are the tags generated in German in this catalog as well?

    Hi Andaleeb,

    I do have Windows 10 & updated from PSE12 to PSE15.

    Please find the requested screenshot attached.

    Kindly provide more guidance on the requested action. Do you want me to import 10 new pics, which are not yet in the database or do you want me to create a new album and select 10 pics from the existing media?

    Hi Mike and Roberto,

    Thanks for the your patience.

    Here's what we can do to repair your catalogs-

    Solution 1: Reset All Smart Tagging done. Since smart tagging is pretty fast process, it shouldn't take much time when re-run.

    Solution 2: If there are only a few images on which English Smart Tags are present, we can repair the catalog database by selectively removing Smart tagging information for these images only.

    Do let us know whichever solution suits you. It would be great if you could share the current status of your catalogs by sharing the catalog database file (catalog.pse15db), as earlier. The copy of catalog database which you shared with me, is more than a month old.

    How should your solution 1 work???

    Uncheck

    Bearbeiten>Voreinstellungen>Medienanalyse>Medien für Smart-Tags automatisch analysieren

    (which may be edit>preferences>media automate analysation for smart-tags)

    doesn't reset/clear/retag the on first run wrong language smart-tags!!!

    It doesen't clear previous mistakes at all.

    This doesn't crear all for a new re-run and doesn't overwrite wrong smart-tags!!!

    I tested it with my 26 pic's dual language smart-tagged catalog.

    Again verry sad.
