Photoshop Elements 15: Smart Tags language

Is there a language setting for smart tags? Though my PSE is configured for language/region German/Germany, smart tags are English only (sunset, nature, rain, ...).

Obwohl Sprache/Region auf Deutsch/Deutschland eingestellt ist, finde ich nur englische Smart Tags (sunset, nature, rain, ...) kann man deren Sprache auch einstellen?

    Hi Mike,

    This should not happen. Can you please confirm if you're on Windows or MAC? Please share a screenshot of your Smart tag panel in Search view.

    Can you create a new test catalog and import say 10 files? To do so, please click File > Manage Catalogs > New. Are the tags generated in German in this catalog as well?

    Hi Andaleeb,

    I do have Windows 10 & updated from PSE12 to PSE15.

    Please find the requested screenshot attached.

    Kindly provide more guidance on the requested action. Do you want me to import 10 new pics, which are not yet in the database or do you want me to create a new album and select 10 pics from the existing media?

    Hi Roberto,

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this issue. The issue is not easily reproducible as the reason for it is not a common scenario. For some reason, the locale registry on your machine was not created and hence the issue.

    The preference option for Smart Tags doesn't Reset the smart tagging done in the catalog. If you share with us your catalog database file, we will repair it and share it back with you.

    Hi,

    your repair offer isn't acceptable for me.

    I never will give you my private catalog with private manual (non smart-tags) tags for correcting mistakes from adobe.

    Beside privacy concerns,

    I'm only interested in a trustfully solution for all users at all.

    Nor only for them, who do scream at loudest.

    I await an General solution from Adobe, not only individual repairings.

    I would only give you my test catalog to find an "update" solution at all.

    But I think that you can meanwhile reproduce the underlying error yourself.
