Photoshop Elements 15 suddenly closes

Hi,

can anyone help me please? When i launch Photoshop elements 15 and open a new photo it wontlet me edit it and then suddenly closes without error message, Ihave tried reinstalling software.

Ive looked at events log and it come up with the following log,

Launch the Editor and go to:

Edit >> Preferences >> General

Click the button to delete preference settings on next launch & click OK.

Quit the Editor and re-launch.
