Photoshop Elements 18

New Here ,

I want to purchase Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 and Premiere Elements 2018 to use on my work computer. However, I also have a laptop and a home computer. Can I install it on more than one device at a time? If not, can I install it on my home computer once I'm finished using it at work?

License allows activating on 2 computers at the same time, as long as only one is in use

Thanks for the reply. Just to confirm and clarify - If I were to install on two devices, and then uninstall later from both of those devices, I could use the same license for two new devices?

Yes.

Just to be clear, installation and activation are two different things.

  • You can install (but not activate) the software on as many computers as you like but you cannot use it without activating it.
  • You can activate the installed software for use on a maximum of two of those installs at any one time
  • You can only use one of the activated installs at a time.
  • You can also deactivate the software on any device at any time - thereby leaving it installed but unuseable - thus you "free up" an activation for use elsewhere. So you could juggle your two activations between several devices if you wanted to.

Correctly suggested by John,

Just one thing to add to the last point, is you can deactivate it just by Signing out  of the product, and you do not have to uninstall the application, until required to free up some space on your machine.

  • Launch the application
  • Go to 'Help' menu
  • click on 'Sign out'
  • A confirmation window will be displayed
  • Confirm it
  • Now your application would be deactivated and you can use the license on some other computer.

NOTE: Make sure you have an active internet connection while deactivating the application, otherwise Adobe wont know if you have deactivated or not, and it would not allow you to use the license on the 3rd machine.

Thanks

Vipin
