Photoshop Elements 2019 keeps asking to login and enter the serial

Hi everyone,

This week I bought a digital copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019. I want to use Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 on my PC, and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 on a laptop.

First I installed Adobe Premiere Elements on my PC. This installation went perfectly fine. However, Photoshop Elements 2019 keeps asking me to login and enter my serialkey. I followed the steps below:

  1. I went to https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial/  signed in and entered the code that I got when I bought the software online;
  2. The Adobe website gave me my Photoshop Elements 2019 serial number. I saved this number safely in my password manager;
  3. I clicked the download button to download the software;
  4. I started the installer, it asked me to login (which I did), and completed the installation without any issues;
  5. I rebooted the laptop (to be sure) and started Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 and clicked the Photo Editor.
  6. It asked me to login (which I did), and clicked the License this software button. I entered the serial number that the Adobe Redeem page gave me after I entered the redeem/voucher code;
  7. After this, the screen disappears and prompt me to login again (step 6).

I did the following to try to solve this issue:

  • Completely remove Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019, run a file/registry cleaning tool (CCleaner), did a reboot and installed the software again;
  • Went to Adobe Account and logged in. I entered the serial number there and It registered Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019, so the serial number is valid.
  • Made sure I entered the correct Adobe ID and password;

The above options didn't solve my issue. Does anyone have a suggestion what I can do?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Is this happening on every launch of the product or is there a particular scenario, where you face this issue?

Thanks

Hi Vipin,

It’s happening everytime, even after a fresh reboot. First I thought it was a firewall/network issue, but it’s possible to log in and enter the serial number. After that, Photoshop Elements won’t start and requires me to log in again.

I bought a separate license for Premiere Elements 2019 and Photoshop Elements 2019 so it should be possible to run each application on its own device.

Greets,

Jeroen

Hello Jeroen,

Thanks for your patience. Could you please provide some additional information that would help us in isolating this issue?

1. On your PC, navigate to Internet Options. Click on the 'Connections' tab.

2. Click on the 'LAN Settings' button.

Share a screenshot of the dialog box that appears thereafter.

Also, please try unchecking the 'Automatically detect settings' checkbox and verify if the issue still persists.

Thanks,

Medha
