Photoshop Elements 2020: Update not activated

We get the message that a update can be loaded. After sarting a window says "Update is not activated. Contact your system administrator".
Thats me. But I don´t know how to activate updates ... ??
Any idea?

. . . and to confirm what 99jon is saying, in the Editor, go to Help>About Plug-In and click on Camera Raw. You will see whether the ACR version 12 has been successfully installed.

There´s a new update available. After clicking on "update now" the message appears "updates are inactivated for this computer". My question is: How to activate updates.

Updates are grayed out under the help menu if no updates are available.

There has only been one camera raw update which you may not need unless you have a new camera. Is the software working OK?
