Photoshop Elements 2020 Ver 18
'Updates' has only activated & updated once. 'Updates' has been 'greyed-out' eversince.
Is this correct ?

Updates will only light up when there are free updates (bugfixes and security fixes) for your version of Elements.
Which version of Elements 2020 are you running?
Check Help (Windows) > About or Photoshop Elements (Mac) > About.
The last Windows update for Elements 2020 was 2020.2 in January 2021.

The last Mac update 2020.1 was back in Feb 2020.
Since Elements 2021 is the current version, it is unlikely that there will be any more free updates for Elements 2020.
