Hi,

Just seen the promised Photoshop Elements 2021.2 Update has been released today.

No new features, but some important bug fixes - including the one for using touch pens and tablets 🙂

Thanks Adobe!

Updates for Photoshop Elements and Camera Raw

Edit: Looks like only the Editor application gets an update (moves up to Build:20210304.m.156367) while the Organizer remains at Build:20210126.m.155261 aka 2021.1

I have just updated: In the process, the version being installed is shown as PSE2021.1. However, after complete install, I can check the the build number is ok.

Michel, obviously there is no update to ACR, and I'm still seeing some hesitation in the ACR crop tool.  IIRC, there were some other performance issues that you were seeing with the preview of certain tools.  Are you seeing any improvement in those?

By @Greg_S.

Greg,

I have not seen noticeable changes in the way some sliders in adjusting boxes don't show the changes in real time but only when I release the cursor. I would need to make more comparisons with previous versions.

What seems more responsive is the switch from detailed view to adaptative view in the organizer. Looking at the task bar, it seems that there is some influence from the GPU and a distinct one from the processor. It's a first impresion to check with comparisons with older versions.

With the same computer, the ACR 13.2 in Photoshop shows very fast and smooth sliders action, which shows in the task bar panel in the GPU usage.
