Photoshop Elements 2024 crashing on startup (Windows 11, Geforce 2080, 64gb ram, AMD 5800X3D)

Hello,

I've tried to get in touch with Adobe but have not gotten any responses back yet.

Essentially, Elements crashes on startup.

I've switched to an Nvidia Studio driver and done a few clean installs. I'm even on a new hard drive, so I have a clean install there too. As you can see in the error log, I have a powerful and up-to-date system, so from a performance viewpoint, I should not be the factor here.

I'm getting the following error.

When you say that you have tried to get in touch with Adobe, do you mean that you responded to an Adobe Crash Reporter dialog? If so, you are unlikely to get a response.

Try contacting Elements support directly. You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page and clicking on the chat button in the lower right corner of the page. Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens.

I doubt whether anyone here is going to be able to interpret the log file that you have copied. And telling us that essentially, Elements crashes on startup doesn't give us much to go by.

Have you installed any plug-ins? Try pressing the Shift key while launching the program and only load necessary plug-ins.

As stated, it's a clean install. So I don't know why or how I'd have plug-ins.

I emailed Grp-ElementsSupport@adobe.com based on their responses to reviews on the Windows store.

I posted here since it seems to be a common problem without a published solution.
