Photoshop Elements prints only in one size

When I try to print, the software disregards the image size of the photo and always wants to print at one set size. I have tried altering about every parameter and tried on a completely different image. it is as if the software has got a gremlin that sets the print size.A Chat with Adobe did not help - he referred me to this forum.

Any ideas?

Hi, when you go into >PRINT< do you get the menu with the settings (size,color,resolution) for your default printer?

The sizing is done through the menu for the printer, which pops-up seperately.

Thank you Tony. I choose the image, set the image size to 17.30 X 12.30 : Then File Print. Dialogue box – Select Printer.

Printer Settings - Chang Settings, paper - Epson Premium Glossy.: Paper size A6 : Best Photo

Print size - actual 17.30 x 12.30

Box on left now says print size is 14.79 x 10.48 and that is what is printed.

I cannot change anything that affects that print size!!

Hi Robin,

That does not sound good, let's make it right.

Are you cropping to the expected output size prior to sending it to the printer?

Could you please let us know the version of Photoshop Elements and the operating system you're working on?

Also, could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop Elements and let us know if it helps?
