Hello!

I purchased the photoshop elements 13 December 11, 2014. I have not had problems using it until today whenever I try to open it , it makes me sign in then it says to start my free trial. Ive already purchased it so I am not sure what to do.

Do you see an option to license your software where it asks you to start your free trial?

If you see this option, could you please try to license it and see the behavior?

Also if you could share some details about the platform on which you are using it along with some screenshots would be helpful to propose a solution.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Have you tried running elements on more than two systems?

Have you been working offline for more than a month?

Which operating system are you running on?

    Brian,

Are you saying that if I ever disconnect my PSE 2018 computer from the web for more than a month the software will quit working?????

I though I avoided all that @#$#@ by not going to a subscription based model. I am separating a "work" computer from a "play" computer and one of them will not ever be connected to the web.

    Hi,

That is my understanding. The authentication method changed a few years back, now you have to sign in. My understanding is that you need to connect to the net within 30 days (free trial period) or it is de-activated.

I suppose that is to stop someone going around installing and running elements on loads of systems and then disconnecting them from the net.

You may be able to contact Adobe to see if you can get some form of exemption serial number
