Hi , i use picasa to look at my pictures . When I see something that needs to be corrected i rightclick on the picture and open with elements 15 to work on that photo that is displayed when starting the program .

Now for some reason elements opens without the picture ready  . I need to search and import the picture manually in PS elements .

Very time comsuming and i don't know the reason . I reinstalled Adobe elements again  and then it worked again !  However after a few days it was again an empty screen when opening elements thru picasa .

So something changed settings somewhere  , no idea what is causing this. I cannot reinstall Elements every week !.   Any IDEA someone ?

Hi,

Apologies for this inconvenience.

See if resetting Elements preferences helps: Preference file locations for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements

Thanks,

Arshla

Try resetting preferences to default. That may help - no guarantees!

In Editor, expert tab, go Edit menu>Preferences>General and look for this:

Hi , i already did a reset on a previous request but in vain . I did it again but nothing changed . ( I never altered the settings anyway)

The rest of the tips are not really the same problem .

So i decided to reinstall Elements 15 again on my computer and like expected it all works just fine for now. Until ….

I will watch this more closely in the future so that when it should stop working again , I maybe know what happened just before that event.

Thank you for your time. If someone else ever has that same problem advise him/her to reinstall elements .
