I recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 2018 and can't find the Print Preview function.  Has it been eliminated?

Susan, I wrote about this problem a couple of days ago and I concur with you.  I note Jeff's response and thank him for his suggestion.  The screen grab of the printing dialog he shows, however, is also what I see but extremely limited to the point of being useless for printing.  In my experience, it is NOT the new version of PSE (2018) that is the problem: it is the specific combination of PSE 2018 and the iMac I am using (High Sierra v. 10.13.2) even with the most up-to-date printer driver on my computer (v. 16.20.0).  When I installed PSE 2018 on my Windows PC and used it with my Canon Pixma-Pro-100 printer, I got the full version of printing dialogs (several screens worth) that I have been seeing for years with my Windows PC and earlier versions of PSE.  It includes choices such as type of printing paper, control of the quality of the print, etc., etc. that are now absent from my combo of PSE 2018, Pixma Pro-100 printer and iMac High Sierra v. 10.13.2.  This combo will NOT work for control of printing.  I may have to go back to my PC Windows computer to print but I bought the new iMac because it has far superior images to be used as a starting point for printing.  Adobe needs to deal with this.

Interesting.  I’m using Windows 10 and a canon Pixma Pro 100 and cannot see the full printing options in Photoshop 2018 that I found in Photoshop 12 using Windows 8.  In the earlier version there was a page setup box on the first print screen.   If selected this the second screen showed a print preview option in th upper right hand corner.  If this option was selected the print preview appeared after the print button was selected and a full screen image of the picture appeared.  You then had the option of continuing to print or canceling the print.   Very useful for detecting problems fixing them before you wasted paper and ink.

I really suspect this is an Adobe problem.   But not sure how to let them know.  Or maybe they don’t see it as issue.

That must have been more to do with the canon software than adobe, since ordinarily there is no full screen preview in the print dialog in photoshop elements.

Were you using a Print Studio Pro plug-in in pse 12?

There is a thread over in the photoshop forum about getting the plugin to install and maybe that will be of help in your case even though it's for mac the general idea of telling the installer what directory to install the Print Studio Pro plug-in would be the same.

CC 2018 and Canon Print Studio Pro 2.2 on macOS High Sierra (10.13)

What operating system are you using?

Newer versions of photoshop elements only have the one option that is File>Print that combines the Print Preview and other print options into the same dialog screen.

When you go to File>Print there is Preview of the image you want to print.

You don't see that?
