Problem removing objects in PS Elements 2021

Question

I'm trying to remove items using Object Removal in the Guided section od PS Elements 2021 but whatever method I try, Brush, Lasso etc, it overlays another area of the picture ionto the area I want to remove. How doi I overcome this?

The short answer is you can't.  When you use the Object Removal Guided Edit, what happens is that the object you want to remove is replaced by another area in your photo.  Removing a person standing in a field of grass with trees in the background may work OK.  But, in a complex photo, with many different objects, colors, textures, etc., this operation can cause the issues that you are seeing.  If you think the program should do a better job, post the photo here and we may be able to offer some suggestions.
