PS elements 2022--problem with color picker---split box on top, solid color on bottom.

color picker has a split color box on top, solid on the bottom

swatch libray only shows 1 color for all the boxes.  (if you click on box with eyedropper, it shows another solid color for all boxes)

preferences are set to "adobe"

colors are set to "H" up top

adobe support is supposed to get back to me after some research

re-launched the program due to the "move tool" not working--fixed that issue

Upgrade to 2023 Photoshop.You are using a newer OS that Adobe was not abel to test with in 2022.

Thanks, I'm using Elements 2021 and have same issue.  Are you saying the only fix is to upgrade to 2023 after switching to Sonoma?  I guess I can do that, but what if that doesn't fix the issue?

Since the upgrade will cost another $80, I believe, I will wait for Adobe agent to get back to me with a solution.  I will post as soon as I get an answer.   They are not "in today".  thanks and hoping they will resolve this since i just bought it last year

i had contacted them again last week and they said they are still working on it.  I asked them to send me an email once they have an answer.   It drives me crazy too!

they closed my case for some reason--so i just called them today.   this can be the problem for all Mac users with Sonoma upgrade that have PS elements 2022 or older.   they are still working with Apple but as of now there is no fix unless you upgrade to the 2024 version which just came out.  $79.99.  which I am willing to wait before I pay more. very frustrating!

With the release of PSE 2024 pse 2022 became "unsupported".    They won't issue any "Updates" to make older versions, such as pse 2022 work with sonoma.

Just an update that I caved-in and paid for upgrade ($80).  I actually paid for Elements 2023, but then shortly thereafter I happened to notice they released 2024 version. To their credit, they did not hesitate to give me the 2024 version after I contacted them. And yes, the upgrade to 2024 fixed issue for me.

Adobe is quite accomdating when pruchases are a week or two before the new version comes out.

Installing the macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 update seems to fix the interface graphical issues.
