Hallo,

die Installtion der Photoshop Elements 2023 Add-on Utilities bricht nach 3% ab.

Fehlercode ist 131.

Hallo, ich habe das Programm "Photoshop Elements" geschlossen. Danach ist die Installation des Add-on problemlos gestartet. Warum es keinen Hinweis zum Schließen gab und stattdessen ein Fehlercode angezeigt wurde ist mir unverständlich. Gruß Peter

Or you can use the workaround found here to download the latest ACR, but make sure you follow the instructions carefully. For Elements 2023, at step 9 of the instructions you need to navigate to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 21\File Formats

Since the Elements Add-on Utilities installer failed to complete, you may need to construct the folder hierarchy.

And the file that you need to copy is named Camera Raw.8bi

How do you install ACR camera raw in PSE?

The new installers for PSE don't necessarily install ACR to speed up the installation time. When you need it, it prompts you to download it and install it.

Keep in mind that the PSE version of ACR is NOT the full version available and installable for the full Photoshop. The only way to install the PSE reduced version is from PSE itself. If you install the Photoshop version externally, it will not be recognized from Elements.
