it wont download on my laptop running windows 10 home

i get the following message

Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open 'PhotoshopElements_12_LS25(2).7z' because it is either not a supported file type or becasue the file has been damaged

(for examlple it was sent as an email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded).

You need to open the .exe fil, not that one:

Important: Some Windows product downloads include two files: an .exe file and a .7z file. To install the software, it's necessary that both files are downloaded and located in the same folder. Otherwise, an error can appear when you start the installer. Errors include "Windows cannot open this file" and "The file archive part of Adobe [product name] is missing."

• Double-click the .exe file (Windows) or the .dmg file (Mac OS) that was downloaded. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the product.

oh my goodness...thankyou so much Bob. It was indeed the 2/2 file i needed rather thanthe 1/2 i was trying to download/install first.

Such a superstart for making it so easy to follow.
