PSE 2020 editor startup error in macOS Tahoe: macOS X at least required - but Tahoe is at least that

It took me some time to get PSE 2020 installed on macOS Tahoe: cleaning with the downloaded Creative Cloud Clean up tool after migration and then only a new download of the dmg package from my product page in my Adobe Account worked. Then Organizer started as expected, but when choosing the Editor an error message comes up immediately, stating that at least macOS X is required. Obviously Tahoe macOS 26 is fitting to that requirement. I hope PSE is not just looking for a macOS pre-number 10???

I hope someone can help please?

Yes I can help:   You can forget about using pse 2020.   There literally is nothing you can do- no work arounds, no fixes, no tricks.

Photoshop Elements 2020 does not work on macOS Tahoe, as reported by users on Adobe Community. The software, designed for older macOS versions like Catalina (macOS 10.15) and earlier, is not compatible with the newer features and system architecture of macOS Tahoe. Adobe's system requirements for Photoshop Elements 2020 indicate support for macOS 10.15 (Catalina), but not subsequent versions.

Thank you Glenn, but I use it without issue in Sequoia, which officially is also not supported any longer.
